This is a scene taken from outside, a frozen moment of an urban environment in transformation. The materiality of these moments gives an actual form to the notions of time and space. One of the definitions of “an object” is ‘a tangible and visible entity; an entity that can cast a shadow. These shadowy entities are parts of a complex network of structures that make up a poetic, creative process – be it “natural”, artistic or representational.
