Emily Ilett & Moa Franzén
THE SPACE BETWEEN
onversations across an ocean: the exchange of letters and words and pictures through air. This exhibition has found itself in both the coming together of our work, and the separations. Two different practices, both intrigued by space. Emily’s work involves physical interventions in environments, and an exploration of the boundaries of physical space in terms of illusion, time and distance. Moa is on the other hand focused on space related to the body, and how the body relates to the world; how an inner space relates to an outer space and what stories and meanings arise from these interactions. This exhibition is a searching: how the body relates to the world; how the world relates to the body.
Emily Ilett & Moa Franzén studies at Glasgow School of Art and Bergen National Academy of The Arts (Dept of Fine Art).
