Margrethe Brekke: A General Introduction to Hopes and Dreams
Margrethe Brekke is studying second year MA Fine Art at KHiB. Margrethe will exhibit crafted items from her current project.
Art in memory of the bygone, and possibly bygone geological era`s Pleistocene(1) and Holocene(2) has, for now, become somewhat obsolete.
Which is why I will start making art about peoples Hopes and Dreams upon possibly entering the Anthropocene(3).
In Galleri Fisk 25-27 October 2013,there will be will be a general and relaxed introduction to Hopes and Dreams.
For this exhibition the Tarkawian method (4) will be applied.

The Pleistocene /ˈplaɪstəsiːn/ (symbol PS[1]) is the geological epoch which lasted from about 2,588,000 to 11,700 years ago, spanning the world's recent period of repeated glaciations.
