Our position is an awkward one. Old Nature is too uncomfortable to inhabit, and many of us still find our new habitat intricate and somewhat strange. Its mechanisms are impenetrable and that makes us feel vulnerable. If they should stop functioning - what then?

Not much else to do, we bide our time in the space between ambitious beast and empathetic apparatus, dangle our legs and wait for what's next.
