Ingeborg Blom Andersskog: Do You Really Go Out?
(-Noe å finne, ikke intet.)
Ingeborg Blom Andersskog is working with the poetic and sensual encounter between nature and culture. Using clay and her own body she seeks places to find a different perception of time.
A lot of people believe happiness is achieved through efficiency, stress, mass production and high consumption. We live in a society where the importance of what we do is measured by the result.
Ingeborg B. Andersskog wants to see this from a different perspective. How is human time related with nature? What does it mean to be present?
We seek to live in the moment, but in contrast we follow the urge of being in several places at the same time. Are we filling our life with the opposite of what we really want?
Ingeborg B. Andersskog moves in between intuition and reflection, spontanity and the sublime.
She is working with sculptural objects, performance and installation.
Andersskog is a third year student at Bergen National Academy of The Arts.
