Anahita Asgharnejad går 2. året på BA i kunst på Kunst- og designhøgskolen i Bergen. Hun arbeider med performance i flere kontekster og medier: live, performativ video og iscenesettelse av miljø / rom. I utstillingen på Galleri Fisk vil hun ta dere til et sted der kunstopplevelsen kan brytes og bøyes, og man ikke trenger å være så høytidlig. Anahita har lært seg et nytt ord; “trope” er ordet som forklarer denne utstillingen.
"trope"
1. A figure of speech using words in nonliteral ways, such as a metaphor.
2. A word or phrase interpolated as an embellishment in the sung parts of certain medieval liturgies.
[Latin tropus, from Greek tropos, turn, figure of speech; see trep- in Indo-European roots.]

Anahita Asgharnejad is a 2nd year student in BA Fine Art at Bergen Academy of Art and Design. She works with performance in multiple contexts and media: live, performative video and staging environment / room. In the exhibition at Galleri Fisk, she will take you to a place where art experience can be broken and bent, and one does not need to be so solemn. Anahita has learned a new word; trope is the word that explains this exhibition.
